Protective tubes
Protective tubes are essential for immersion
probes. The molten metals behave very aggres-

appropriate protective tube materials are
to be used.
We offer protective tubes in the following
materials: ceramics (Sialon II), titanium
and stainless steel.
Sialon II

Temperature resistant up to 1250°C.
Sizes are custom made for your probe.
Stainless steel
for use in non ferrous metals, i.e. lead, tin and zinc. Temperature resistant up to 900°C. Sizes are custom made for your probe.
Titanium
